I know that a lot of people think that there is only one way to do things, and can be an elitist about method. I have heard people say, “that’s not airbrushing”, when you start using other things in your work. In my case pencil crayons within some of my “airbrush” pieces. I have always been open to new techniques, but all too often, especially with water based automotive paints, you will hear people turn up their noses and waive the “euro” banner. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against urethane paints, it is the inability or unwillingness to experiment that baffles me. I think the day I stop looking at different ways to do things, I will stop progressing as a designer and an artist.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! NEVER STOP LOOKING FOR NEW WAYS TO DO THINGS!
